OUR
STORY

PalmaLawyers traces its origins to 1982, when Santiago Rodríguez-Miranda Gómez, former Minister of Labour and Social Security, State Attorney, and Chair of Financial Law at the University of the Balearic Islands, founded the legal practice Iberforo Baleares alongside a group of colleagues. The firm initially focused on key areas of public, urban planning, financial, and commercial law.

In 1990, the next generation joined the firm, and with it came new momentum. The practice relocated to a historic building on Convento de Santa Magdalena Street, in the heart of Palma’s old town, before moving again in 1998 to Plaza de Santa Eulalia, directly opposite Palma’s City Hall. In 2007, the firm adopted its current name, PalmaLawyers, expanding its practice areas and introducing new departments, including external accounting services and a dedicated tax unit.

In response to continued growth, the firm moved in 2018 to its current offices, located on the 6th and 7th floors of the landmark “Es Crèdit” building in Plaza de España, Palma. From there, we offer integrated legal, tax, and accounting services to a wide range of national and international clients, many of whom have placed their trust in our firm year after year.
